How to Recover Like a Pro: The Importance of Rest Days
Rest day made me feel like I was losing progress. But recovery is where the magic happens.
How to Recover Properly:
Active Recovery. Easy walking, yoga, or stretching helps circulation.
Hydrate & Refuel. Water, electrolytes, and good food keep muscles happy.
Foam Roll & Stretch—this is where I need to have more discipline.
Your body will thank you.
Prioritize Sleep. 7-9 hours is ideal for muscle repair. Sometimes not so realistic for a full time working mom, but we should try!
Skipping rest leads to burnout.
Embrace recovery, and you’ll come back stronger!
